San Vito Lo Capo

On the northwest coast of Sicily, enclosed in a bay between the natural reserves of the Zingaro to the East and Mount Cofano to the West, lies San Vito Lo Capo, the town of couscous, a dish of peace and a symbol of integration between different peoples and cultures.

San Vito Lo Capo is an old seaside village that preserves a strong Arab influence. In this place, the lights, scents and flavors blend together creating a landscape of typically Mediterranean colours and suggestive backdrops: low whitewashed houses covered with bougainvillea, a turquoise sea guarding ancient treasures and embraced by a white sandy beach that stretches for over about one mile.
